RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — NK Patent Law, helping innovative startups and established technology companies protect and exploit their intellectual property assets as a competitive advantage, is sponsoring two important events this spring centered on the Triangle’s active product design community: Product Camp RTP April 22, and Innovate Carolina April 21.
In addition, Innovate Carolina will feature the firm’s co-founder, Justin Nifong, presenting alongside Ty Hagler of Trig Innovation on “Digital Ideation and Provisional Patents: Risks and Rewards of Accelerating the Fuzzy Front End.”
“I am thrilled to be invited as a speaker for the Innovate Carolina Conference with PDMA Carolinas. PDMA represents one of the premier groups of new product developers, and this conference may have the largest concentration of innovative thinkers in the Carolinas. And I couldn’t be happier to share the stage with Ty Hagler, a true visionary in the product development arena,” Nifong said.
Product Camp RTP helps to build a stronger product design community in the Triangle and beyond during a day long event bringing together designers, developers, business owners, and others involved in bringing new concepts to market. Innovate Carolina is an annual conference sponsored by the Carolinas chapter of the Product Development Management Association (PDMA), an association focused on improving the skills and capabilities of its members in product development, product management and innovation.
During their presentation at Innovate Carolina, Nifong and Hagler will be exploring a new approach to making ideation — the formation of ideas or concepts — more cost- and time-efficient, balancing the need for individual reflection with gathering new creative stimuli from team members using digital collaboration tools.
Product Camp RTP will be held at Knowledge Tree, and registration is available online at http://productcamprtp.org/events/.
